In 2021, we had the joy of sending three incredible families — the Cabrera family, the Myers family, and the Torres family — to Tarija to share the Gospel and plant a church. These faithful servants work tirelessly for the Lord, dedicating their lives to advancing His Kingdom. San Angelo Christian Academy is a mission outreach of Southgate Church and the fulfillment of a long-held dream for many in our church family. In a world that is becoming increasingly secular, SACA stands as a beacon — a private school grounded in faith and committed to nurturing students in a Christ-centered environment. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful school to every family in San Angelo. We are deeply grateful to Christie, Angela, Michelle, and all those who dared to dream and worked tirelessly to bring this vision of a Christian school to life.

Southgate is blessed to support several Children’s Homes through a variety of efforts. This includes youth mission trips to help build, repair, and maintain facilities, while also offering encouragement to both residents and staff. We also respond to special requests from these homes, organize annual fundraising drives, and provide consistent financial support — allowing these homes to plan ahead and better care for the children and communities they serve.
