Preaching Minister
Paul and Patsy Shero moved to San Angelo in the winter of 1977 to serve the then Colorado & Jackson Street Church of Christ. Together they have faithfully served as our congregation for decades leading in wisdom and sound instruction from the word.
Wyatt Fairman
Youth Minister
Wyatt was hired in June of 2025 after graduating from Freed Hardman University in Henderson, TN. His love for the Lord and His Church is apparent in his speech and action and we are blessed to have his leadership for our youth.
Tessie Yarbrough
Communications Coordinator
Tessie has been a long time member of the Southgate family, previously serving alongside her husband Jason as our youth minister. She currently serves as our lead communications coordinator and the first point of contact for anyone connecting with the office.

Doyle & Becky Carter

Doyle and his wife, Becky, were married in 1980. They have 1 grown son. They have been members at Southgate since 2006, and Doyle has served as an Elder since 2020.
Steve & Dawn Stanley

Steve and his wife, Dawn, were married in 1991. They have 2 grown children. They have been members at Southgate since 1994, and Steve has served as an Elder since 2017.
Terry & Phyllis Gibson

Terry and his wife, Phyllis married in 1983. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren, and have been Southgate members since their youth. Terry has served as an Elder since 2017.
Kevin & Angela Ward
